I just recently completed my first 10000km service, all done by myself!
I was initially a bit concerned about checking computer errors and resetting the reminder. It seemed that options would be to either buy an expensive GS911 for 350+ eur. or pay a dealer or motorcycle garage to do it.
Then I came across this Android app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.wgsoft.motoscan - which works via an OBD link device connected to the bike's computer port. The total cost of the app upgrade to reset service reminders + an OBD link device + cable was 100eur. I bought UniCar Scan which is sold by the developer of Motoscan and works with iPhones too (just in case they release an iPhone version of the app in the future or I want to use other apps on the iPhone).
In the end computer errors were read and the service reminder was successfully reset. Highly recommended!
