I am picking up a Givi E450 Top Box tomorrow that comes with a universal mounting plate. I have seen this installed on some St's, but can anyone comment specifically on their ST or S with detailed pictures of the rack? has anyone removed the OEM rack and installed a complete Givi rack for their top box along with the V35 saddle bags?? Any help would be appreciated..

I use the self same model on my ST. It was very easy to fit and comes with instructions. I found that I needed two longer bolts (They provide 4 of the same length) to allow the base plate to be seated rock solid. I've used it for 12 months and it's never budged - that's some achievement for British roads!

Try this thread, I've now swopped the Givi rack for the universal plate mounted onto an ST rack in the same way as Gruntinc has done (see page two of the thread for photos). The plate fits well on to the rack, its just a case of edging it around until it all the holes line up.
