I've been lurking here a while, had my 800GS since 13th March. Spend quite a bit of time on the other GS site.

I went with the onboard PC, centre stand, alarm, BMW handguards with spoilers and BMW rear rack (now powder coated black).

I have Motech engine bars here waiting to go on, as well as the bashplate (I am temporarily separated from my toolkit, hopefully to be fixed this week!) I've avoided green lanes for the time being until the bars are on...trip to Derbyshire planned this weekend

Waiting on Trax luggage from SW Motech and I think the BMW touring screen, then the bike will be just about perfect [thumb] Need a few more miles in the saddle before I think about the seat options...

Did the BMW Off-road school a couple of months ago, with some mixed results. THe 800GS is brilliant off-road. Literally point it in the direction you want to go and the bike finds it's way. 1st gear is perhaps a little high so good clutch technique is required.

But if you get it wrong...
