I have a 2016 f800gsa with bark busters on it ( metal loop with plastic guard). Is there any cruise control that I can use?

I'm pretty sure one of the Kaoko ones will fit. They have a couple of options. Send them an email. When I was buying mine (I have the factory GSA guards) I sent them an email to clarify and they were really good to deal with.

Don't know the Kaoko but do believe its a friction type of device.
If your looking for a none electronic alternative thats inexpensive, I use the Go Cruise on my GS and have Barkbusters,,,I find it works great and saves a lot of stress on the longer rides,,. I switch it from one bike to the next in seconds?
