If you can't find an oem handle bar you can substitute a 7/8 inch bar. I ended up using GP Touring bars by Emgo which were priced at $30 usd. Here are the specs:
Width: 28 in.
Rise: 3 in.
Pullback: 5 1/4 in.
Center Width: 4 in.
End Rise: 5 1/2 in.
Of course you can use bars with a different rise, pullback, and width depending upon what you are trying to achieve. To use the stock bar end weights you'll have to use some threaded inserts because most aftermarket bars don't come threaded. You can use the mounts commonly used for handguards or bar end mirrors.
One other thing you need to do is drill a hole for the grip-fixing screws so that they don't rotate on you. Pretty easy to do. Just get everything lined up where you want it and then scribe the location of the screw. Disassemble, drill, and reinstall. Good luck.
