Shad top box on f800st rear rack?

Hi
I was looking at mounting the top box from my wife's scooter on her bike. It has the plastic universal holding plate. The brackets to hold that to the rack don't look like they would work with the great big cut-outs in the BMW rack. Has anybody here mounted a universal Shad or Givi bracket to the rear rack on a ST? I saw where Givi makes a bracket that fills the cut-outs so you can mount the box but I haven't found one on the Shad sight?

thanks

Darren

Here's a couple picks of my Shad mount. I switched to the SH45 after my original BMW case fell off one day. I had to slightly modify the brackets on the bottom, but it's held perfectly for a couple years now.

GIVI universal rack will fit in much the same way.

But do remember that there are two GIVI / KAPPA mounting systems, monolock and monokey. Check which box type you have so you order the correct rack

Thank you both for the pictures and the information.

Bit of a thread revival, but I'm trying to fit my Shad mounting plate to the rack on my F800ST. Are the brackets under the rack from SHAD or are they a custom-made part?
They came with the plate from shad, but I think I bent them a little bit for a perfect fit into the specific groves that I wanted. I also wrapped them in electrical tape to reduce the damage to the underside of the rack. It's held solid for at least 7 years now and probably 50k miles.

I ended up buying the kit that Shad specifies for the F800GT and F800R (W0GT83ST), and it fits straight on. Not sure why they don't spec it for the ST too as as far as i can see teh F800GT and F800ST share the same OE rear rack.
