Welcome, JP. I love the matte grey. I wound up with a 2008 in blue as the grey 2007s were all sold by the time I was ready to move forward. FWIW...love my color too.

love the color, an added bonus, it rarely needs washing.
I’ve had it for 11 or 12 yrs. & have no plans to replace it.

Thanks SCF. Did you put a tank protector to avoid scratching the fake tank with your zipper? The reason I am asking is that with the matte graphitan, I am afraid that protectors won't stick properly. Thanks 👍

On my bike I sit far away from the fake tank I’m not worried about scratches there but I have two small spots rubbed down to bare plastic where my knees are against the sides. Right on the edge where the fairing meets the frame.
