motor swaps

hi, I was just wandering if the 900 XR motor is based on the 800GT motor??
and if it is, would it be possible to swap them out from the crank up?
I have GS650 that i am very happy with but now i want more power, mainly I stay on the road and do touring. The GT looks very appealing but looks like it might lack some power
The XR is not my cup of tea and far more sophisticated for my liking

Not even close. You can't possibly be serious with this question.

i am just asking the question
i believe they are both rotax motors

I don't think that is right. My understanding is that the G650 single engine was manufactured in china as is the new 900cc model. The original F650/700/800 engines were manufactured by Rotax with design input by BMW.

The original single was a Rotax and manufacturing was shifted to China.

The 750/850/900 is by Loncin in China.

I know my 1997 Funduro engine was made by Rotax and the bike assembled in Italy. I think Loncin only made the last couple of years of the G650 single.
Sorry about the confusion, I will ask the question in a different way. Is the F800GT motor very similar to the XR900?
Is it possible to put the crank up from the 900 into the casing of the 800GT?
I think my 2010 F650 GS engine was made in China and assembled by BMW in Germany.

ok so if i am reading this right the 2013 F800GT motor is Rotax and has no relations to the later 2020 XR 900 Loncin series engine.
Thankyou,
I thought they were the same company

Even if they were the same company the two engines are obviously so different that there is no way that the top end could be swapped.

I had an F800, i have a F900. They're both parallel twins and that's where the similarities end. A quick Google search for engine specs should have been enough to answer that question.

i know the motors are different and that is why i want to swap them out and yes the specs are different.
are the engine casings and the clutch gear the same if so then crank, cylinders, heads and a ecu change may be possible?
Restating the need for you to do a Google search because you obviously haven't seen a picture of the engine, or read any of,, well anything at all about the new design. No, NOTHING is the same. If you simply searched for an image you'd see that.
Once again, they are both parallel twins and that is the only thing they really have in common.
I really don't think that this is a serious post. This is just some weird spam.
ok.. sorry about annoying everyone,, and yes now i see they are totally different motors,
thanks for your replies and help
