Here is another photo of the wheel stand. It provides more detail showing how it was constructed. Note the 45 degree angle on the front horizontal arms that provide the leverage to lift the forks.
Homemade front wheel stand
Yesterday I helped my son-in-law replace the front tire on his 100K+ mile 1986 Honda VFR700FII. I thought you might be interested in seeing his homemade front wheel stand. I thought it was kind of creative and a lot cheaper than buying any steel manufactured stand. I was impressed how well it worked. We got the wheel removed, the tire replaced and the wheel reinstalled without any drama. [
