HID light? Legal?

I bought a set of HID lights for my F800GS but because of strict police controls in Norway, I have been a little unsure. But the rules in Norway is quite unclear because the rule of retrofitting is written for cars. It is probably also the case in most other countries when it comes to HID.
Where required automatic alignment and automatic headlamp cleaning, but most people know this is hard to get to the motorcycle. Xenon lamp develops little heat and it is therefore available for further requirements for headlamp cleaning to prevent icing and condensation in the winter but there are few of us who use the bike in the winter. It is also said that the head light must be approved for HID and be ECE mark.
Are there any of you know of a possible to get in approved lamp that is ECE mark to such an F800GS?
Or what can be done to get this legal?

The main reason for not allowing fitment of HID bulbs in regular lenses is typically that it throws a VERY different light pattern. Especially in Europe where the lenses are different than the US (throwing more light on the right than towards the left side - US uses an equal beam pattern). You will find blinding oncoming traffic easier and hence they banned conversion pretty much everywhere.

To my knowledge there is no reflector for the GS to swap from regular to HID. You might want to talk with Hella and the like if you think you can convince them to develop one (very expensive).

I have seen one or two project conversion kits which do not rely on the normal lamp reflector. This would be the only universally legal conversion I am aware of.
