F800GT or R1200RS?

As much as I enjoy comparisons and contrasting our favorite bikes, going real-time is even cooler! I picked up a clean 2016 R1200RS in January to go with my 2016 F800GT. Both of the sport touring category, same origins, engineering, similar but different purposes, each has its own distinct personality that endears. For around towners, Light pack countryside weekends on tight windy roads I still love the quick handling, light weight, and pull of the F8 above 6K. Distance touring with more gear, higher daily mileage, greater Texas cross-wind mass favors the smoother, endless torque, RS. I feel blessed that I can stable two and can choose to ride with out compromise.
