With the right aftermarket set of loud mufflers it sounds like a bunch of ball bearings rattling around a steel garbage can. The stock exhaust system doesn't sound much different then a Honda 4 of the period with two more mufflers.

So it its sounds like our F8 engine, just louder and X3 the rattles...With the right aftermarket set of loud mufflers it sounds like a bunch of ball bearings rattling around a steel garbage can.
It has been a while since I have seen one of these Yamaha Niken GTs. I wonder if Yamaha still makes them an if they are still sold in North America?
