Greetings folks. I'm having some problem with my battery dying every morning if i dont keep my 2012 f800gs on the Tender charger at night. I could identify that by disconnecting the abs module plug it stops draining the battery. The GS911 didn't pick it up anything and a BMW dealer said that is was a faulty ABS Module (I buy a new one and replace it. that was not the problem).
Anyone could give me some help in this problem?

The ABS module does not drain the battery, it is switched off when the ignition is off. My guess would be that it is the battery itself. How old is it, still original?

I already replaced the battery two times. the wiring is aparently ok, no fault codes in any modules.

Last night I was reading about a ZFE problem where it wouldn't turn off the auxiliary jack and it didn't show up in any fault codes. There is the possibility of my ZFE is not turning off the ABS system?

May be unrelated but the auxiliary jack stays open above a certain load, (can't recall what that load is) it's a feature apparently.

All I can add is have you cycled the ABS module using GS-911 or MotoScan? Can't see as it would fix the issue but it may throw up an error which may help.

I had to replace the battery of my 2020 KTM 390 Duke twice before I found one that would hold a charge longer than a couple of days. I thought the problem was the bike's electrical or charging system. But the third battery that I bought is working perfectly and will hold a charge for at least a couple of weeks without its voltage dropping below 12.8 volts. This battery showed a manufacturing date that was only 2 months before I bought it off of Amazon. :)

It seems to me as if Chinese battery quality declined during Covid. Either that or they sat on distributor and retail shelves for so long before being sold, and without being recharged, that the battery was internally damaged.

If you unplug the ABS and let the bike sit overnight then plug it back in the morning...
The bike consistently starts, but drains the battery consistently if left plugged in?

If so I might give these folks a call see if the problem sounds familiar to them: Home (US) | BBA Reman

This is exactly what is happening. If I leave the ABS plugged overnight it drains the battery. when disconnect, I can leave the bike idle for weeks and it will stars without a problem.

Well, I don't know whether to be happy that I was able to solve the problem or pissed off that it was just the battery. After having revised all the wiring, changed the ABS module and gone through 2 different batteries, I changed the battery again and Voilà, problem solved. The CCA of the others was a maximum of 130A. The MOTOBATT has a CCA of 230A.
