I think you made smart choices. I like the mounting of the additional front lights - functional and looks good.

Your rear brake light seems very bright. Is that a new bulb?

What do you carry in your tool kit?

By the way, your english is excellent. Better than many english-first language writers!

I like your sliders - no cutting and a reasonable price - until they are imported, then I fear the cost will shoot up. Nice farkles, although I'm not too sure about your day riding lights - I've got smaller ones on my windshield mountings. They are certainly bright enough!

Can anyone give me an idea how much extra I might have to pay on say $100 ???

I had to remove the inner part of the case and drill four hole.
The brackets were rigid, so I used a heat gun to give them the curved shape of the side case.
It is manufactured with a system that allows to put a padlock to close it.
I put a liter of gas and a tire repair kit in case of a dry failure or if another rider needs it.

Hi,
It cost me 157$ to have it in Belgium and you need 1 hour to mount them
But I did not find something else to protect the bike without cutting something and with style.

For my daylight, they show all their efficiency on the night roads. Indeed, it allows to illuminate wider and further but especially they are motorized and turns to illuminate the turn according to the trajectory of the bike which is a great asset.

It's really a case of the license plate showing plus whatever the poster had revealed in their online profile and conversations that would allow an evil doer to insert themselves into the poster's life. (Identity theft, actual theft, impersonation, whatever.)

It's just that the internet can so vastly expand the number of people able to see your license plate plus whatever else you've published that it may become an issue. So, a little bit of insurance just in case a recently unemployed Russian hacker takes an interest.

Also (in the UK at least) to reduce the possibility of number cloning. Stolen vehicles are very often fitted with the number of a genuine vehicle and used without vehicle tax and insurance, sometimes to commit crimes. Our fuel here is very expensive so cars are often fitted with cloned plates to drive off from forecourts without paying.

Happened to me a few years ago, my plates were stolen and they blasted through every speed camera within 50 miles. Luckily the theft was reported and the tickets were rescinded.

Nice mods by the way.[:)]

That's interesting to learn. I guess the downside of having prisoners make license plates is that they take the skills with them into the real world. Lol

Because of gas and dash crimes, several Canadian provinces have legislation requiring pre-payment at gas stations.
