Old Biker's 1975 BMW R90S

Fellow Riders,

It's ironic but I'm not one to join clubs so this is new for me and probably temporary for my goal is to sell my last 1975 R90/6 CUSTOM BMW MOTORCLYCLE to fellow Beamer Riders. Sooner or later you come to your last ride. It's my time...If I keep riding; it may be sooner then later. I've been on bikes for 42 year and yes I've crashed and burned a few times (not on this one). There a saying, "You ride long enough your going down. Be prepared". I was and obviously still here. In spite of that I road 30 more years. I have great memories of many long beautiful roads.

I truly want someone who cares about BMW bikes, likes myself, to get a chance to own a unique one. Your BMW F800 Riders Forum & Registry seems to be a good place to start. If you love to ride, love to customize classic bikes, distinctive with many possibilities or just wish to tour…this bike can do it in spite of its age. It only has 46,350 miles which is nothing for a BMW. I’m 66 years old and have been riding many varieties of motorcycles. This one was ridden the least because I fell in love and had a family to take care of. No regrets! You will not have any trouble finding parts when needed, which by the way, is not very often. If you are enthusiastic about BMW bikes, like Harley people are about theirs, you know the BMW motorcycle is a very enduring bike. This BMW has a black Jacwal Superwedge Fairing (1978).The mechanics of this BMW are in excellent condition but these are only words and until you see it, ride it, only then can you judge it.
